  • 30 oz marshmallows (divided)
  • 18 cups puffed rice cereal (divided)
  • 9 oz unsalted butter (divided)
  • Red and blue food coloring

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt 3 oz of butter over low heat. Add 10 oz of marshmallows and stir until smooth. Mix in red food coloring and puffed rice cereal until coated. Press into the prepared dish.
  3. Repeat the process for the white layer using 10 oz of marshmallows without adding color; press on top of the red layer.
  4. For the blue layer, melt remaining butter and marshmallows, add blue food coloring, mix in cereal, and press onto the white layer.
  5. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
