  • 22 1/2 pounds flank steak (cut into 6 pieces)
  • Kosher salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup Tamari sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 pound asparagus (trimmed)
  • 3 bell peppers (seeded and sliced thinly)
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/3 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Olive oil spray

Instructions

  1. Season the flank steak generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the steak in a large zip-top bag with Tamari sauce and crushed garlic for at least 1 hour (or overnight).
  3. Preheat your air fryer as directed.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade, discard the marinade, and divide the asparagus and bell peppers among each piece of steak.
  5. Roll each steak around the vegetables tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Place bundles in the air fryer basket without overcrowding; spray lightly with olive oil.
  7. Cook at 400°F for about 5 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
  8. Rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
  9. Prepare sauce by combining balsamic vinegar, beef broth, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until thickened.
