Bang Bang Salmon is a delightful seafood dish that elevates your dinner with its rich, creamy sauce and spicy kick. Perfect for busy weeknights or special occasions, this quick and easy recipe combines tender salmon fillets with a homemade bang bang sauce made from mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp honey/maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar/lime juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Season the salmon fillets by rubbing them with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place the seasoned salmon on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 145°F).
  5. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey/maple syrup (if using), and rice vinegar/lime juice until smooth.
  6. Serve the salmon topped with bang bang sauce and garnish as desired.
