  • 2 pounds chuck steak, cubed
  • 2 ½ tablespoons oil

  • 1 large bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Sauté onions and garlic in oil over medium heat until onions are translucent.
  2. Add cubed chuck steak and brown on all sides.
  3. Stir in bell peppers and cook until softened.
  4. Mix in tomato paste and diced tomatoes; cook for a few minutes.
  5. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir well.
  6. Pour in beef broth; add seasonings and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low.
  7. Cover and let simmer for about 2 hours until meat is tender.
