  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cheddar soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 box Cheddar Bay Biscuit mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large non-stick skillet, brown the ground beef with diced onion over medium-high heat. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in the cheddar soup, cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, pepper, and one cup of shredded cheddar until combined; remove from heat.
  4. Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  5. Prepare the biscuit topping by mixing the biscuit mix with cheese and milk until just combined; pour over the beef mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 50-55 minutes until golden brown on top.
