  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 package taco seasoning (plus water)
  • 2 cans Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 12 Colby Jack cheese sticks
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes. Drain excess fat and mix in garlic, taco seasoning, and water; cook until water evaporates.
  3. Unroll pizza dough into rectangles (12×8 inches), cutting each can into six squares.
  4. Place about 3 tablespoons of the meat mixture and half a cheese stick on each square. Fold dough over, pinching seams to seal.
  5. Brush tops with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley.
  6. Bake for 12–14 minutes until golden brown.
