  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional)
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate diced chicken with soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl; set aside.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and melt butter.
  4. Stir-fry marinated chicken for 4–5 minutes until fully cooked; remove from skillet.
  5. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant (about 2 minutes).
  6. Add cabbage, bell pepper, and carrot; stir-fry for 5–6 minutes until tender-crisp.
  7. Return chicken to skillet, pour in the sauce, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until thickened.
