This easy-to-make dessert features flaky crescent rolls encasing a luscious cream cheese filling, topped with a generous sprinkle of cinnamon sugar for an irresistible finish.

  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (plus extra for cinnamon sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup granulated sugar and 1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese until fluffy. Add in the remaining sugar, vanilla extract, and egg; mix until well combined.
  4. Flatten crescent roll dough using a rolling pin into two sheets.
  5. Layer the bottom of the baking dish with cinnamon sugar, then place one sheet of dough on top. Spread cheesecake filling over it and top with the second sheet. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar on top.
  6. Bake for 27 to 30 minutes or until golden brown; allow to cool before slicing.
