  • 2 cans (15 oz each) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cans (30 oz total) diced tomatoes with juice
  • 30 oz tomato sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the ground beef for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  2. Sauté vegetables: Add diced onion and cook for another 4-5 minutes. Stir in minced garlic and spices; cook for an additional 30 seconds.
  3. Combine ingredients: Transfer the mixture to your slow cooker. Add beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), and tomato sauce; stir well.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours until flavors meld.
  5. Serve: Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
