  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seed butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Tbsp water (adjust as needed)
  • 34 oz dark chocolate (for dipping)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Flaked sea salt (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine pea protein, cacao powder, and salt.
  2. Add sunflower seed butter and vanilla extract; mix well. Gradually add water until dough is playdough-like in texture.
  3. Roll into 1 tablespoon-sized balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Freeze for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan over low heat.
  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, then place on parchment paper to cool.
  7. Drizzle remaining chocolate over the balls and sprinkle with flaked sea salt.
