Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 boneless ribeye steak (1″ – 1/2″ thick)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Boursin cheese (garlic & herb flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • ½ tablespoon creamed horseradish
  • 1 baguette (sliced into 20 pieces)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Season the ribeye steak with kosher salt. Heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak for about 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness. Let it rest before slicing thinly against the grain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Boursin cheese and creamed horseradish; add water gradually until smooth.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange baguette slices on a baking sheet, brush with olive oil, and toast for approximately 5 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Assemble by topping each crostini with sliced steak, drizzling with horseradish sauce, and finishing with balsamic glaze and fresh chives.
