  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice. Stir until well mixed.
  3. Pour the rice mixture into the greased baking pan and lay the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle the onion soup mix over the chicken for enhanced flavor.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours or until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Optional: During the last 10 minutes of baking, uncover and add shredded cheese on top if desired.
  7. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving directly from the pan.
