  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in boiling salted water until al dente; reserve some pasta water and drain.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat; sear chicken until golden brown; remove.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant; add chicken broth and simmer.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Return chicken to the skillet; add rigatoni and mix well.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
