  • 35 pound boneless beef chuck roast
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 4 large carrots (or 1 pound baby carrots)
  • 1 pound baby red potatoes
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • Salt
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Black pepper
  • Smoked paprika (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Season the roast with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  2. Sear the seasoned roast in the Instant Pot using the sauté function until browned (2-3 minutes per side).
