  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 5 ounces evaporated milk
  • 1 (14 oz) bag caramels, unwrapped
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream butter with granulated and brown sugar until creamy; add vanilla and eggs one at a time.
  4. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Spread half of the dough into the prepared dish and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, melt evaporated milk and caramels together; stir in peanut butter until smooth.
  7. Pour caramel over baked layer, then drop spoonfuls of remaining dough on top.
