Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups white granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/2 cup oil (canola or vegetable)
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup marshmallow creme

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. Prepare a 9×9-inch baking pan with nonstick spray and parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Using a mixer, beat sugar, eggs, and egg yolk until pale (about 5 minutes). Mix in melted butter, oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Melt the marshmallow creme in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds until soft; dollop over the brownie batter and swirl gently.
  6. Bake for 45–55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out slightly moist.
  7. Let cool completely on a cooling rack before cutting into squares.
