  • 16 oz rotini pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 36 oz marinara sauce
  • 6 oz chopped pepperoni (plus 20 whole slices for topping)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 small onion
  • Italian seasoning
  • garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Cook the rotini in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, and salt. Drain excess grease.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cooked pasta, beef mixture, chopped pepperoni (reserving some), diced green pepper, diced onion, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Mix well.
  5. Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Add remaining cheese and pepperoni on top; return to oven for another 10–15 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Let it rest before serving.
