Instructions

  2. In another bowl, mix warmed milk, melted butter, egg, food coloring, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients gradually until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth; allow to rise in an oiled bowl for about 1 hour.
  5. Prepare filling by mixing softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread filling evenly.
  7. Roll up tightly into a log and slice into 12 pieces; let rise again for 30 minutes in a greased dish.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Beat cream cheese and butter for frosting; mix in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
