  • 2 tubes (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 3 teaspoons caraway seeds
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds sliced deli corned beef
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained
  • 2/3 cup Thousand Island salad dressing

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll one tube of crescent dough, shape into a rectangle, and press into a greased 13×9-inch baking dish.
  3. Bake the bottom crust for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden brown.
  4. Combine drained sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing in a bowl.
  5. Layer half of the Swiss cheese on the crust, followed by corned beef and the sauerkraut mixture. Top with remaining Swiss cheese.
  6. Unroll the second tube of dough, seal seams, place it on top of the layers, brush with egg white, and sprinkle caraway seeds.
  7. Bake for 12–16 minutes until golden brown; let cool slightly before serving.
