  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  2. Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower heads and trim the stem. Cut each head in half lengthwise, then slice into 1 ½-inch thick steaks.
  3. Place the steaks on a baking sheet.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle olive oil over each steak and sprinkle with seasoning on both sides.
  5. Cover with foil and roast for 5 minutes. Remove foil and roast for an additional 10 minutes, flipping halfway through until golden brown (about 6-8 more minutes).
  6. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
