  • 8 breakfast sausage links
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)
  • Maple syrup (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage links according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Remove the crusts from the bread slices and flatten each slice using a rolling pin.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until combined.
  4. Place one cooked sausage link at one end of a flattened bread slice and roll it up tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
