  • 1 pound bulk pork sausage
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Cook the sausage in a large skillet over medium-high heat until browned and crumbly. Drain excess grease and let it cool.
  2. On wax paper, unroll one package of crescent rolls and pinch the seams together to form a seamless sheet.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese over the dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  4. Layer half of the cooked sausage and half of the shredded cheddar on top.
  5. Roll the dough into a tight log using the wax paper for assistance. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F. Slice logs into 1/2-inch thick pinwheels and arrange on a baking sheet with space between each.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
