  • 1 package (3 oz) strawberry-flavored gelatin mix
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar, for dusting
  • 2430 chocolate kiss candies, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the egg and extracts; mix well.
  3. Stir in the strawberry gelatin until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  5. Roll dough into tablespoon-sized balls and chill for at least 1 hour.
  6. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 11-13 minutes until edges are firm.
  7. Press chocolate kisses into warm cookies after baking. Cool completely before serving.
