  • 1 lb ground beef (lean)
  • 1 oz taco seasoning
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chiles
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Ranch dressing
  • 5 packs of frozen phyllo tart shells

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and undrained diced tomatoes; simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. In a bowl, mix shredded cheddar cheese with Ranch dressing and combine it with the meat mixture.
  5. Spoon the filling into phyllo tart shells; freeze if not baking immediately.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until heated through; increase time by 2-3 minutes if frozen.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.
