  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 oz semisweet chocolate
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until smooth.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan and bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely.
  5. Melt 8 oz chocolate with milk in a double boiler or microwave until smooth. Cool slightly.
  6. Whip chilled cream until soft peaks form; gradually add powdered sugar and whip until stiff peaks form.
  7. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream until combined, then pour over cooled brownies.
  8. Refrigerate for at least three hours before serving.
