  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast (or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast)
  • 1/4 cup butter (softened) or coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 23 tablespoons milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to about 120-130°F and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and melted butter or coconut oil. Stir in sugar, salt, and yeast until dissolved.
  3. Gradually mix in flour to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick and spread softened butter over it.
  5. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly, then roll tightly into a log shape.

  7. Let the rolls rise until doubled in size (about 30 minutes). Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Bake for about 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar with milk until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
